Foreign Media Laud Soccer Team's Win

Foreign media are all over the national soccer team's first victory in the World Cup in Germany.

Reports also named striker Ahn Jung-hwan as Man of the Match for scoring the winning goal against Togo and lauded coach Dick Advocaat's tactics.

The Associated Press said South Korean police estimated more than two million fans nationwide cheered the team at outside venues.

The report added prison inmates were also allowed to watch the game on TV and that the game was broadcast in North Korea with South Korea's help.

Bloomberg said South Korea is the first of the three Asian countries in the World Cup to win its first game.
