The National Police Agency estimates that at least 770,000 soccer fans will assemble Tuesday at some 80 outside places nationwide to root for the national team against Togo.

The agency said Monday that the number could even surpass a million, easily beating the mark of the 2002 World Cup group game against the United States.

Police said they will minimize checks on fans so as not to ruin their cheering and festive mood.
