Advocaat: 'South Korean Team is Fully Prepared'

Head coach of South Korea's national football team, Dick Advocaat said the Korean soccer squad have completed their physical training.

Advocaat told reporters after a morning training session the teams fitness level is much higher than in February, and some players from 2002 are even better than they were four years ago.

He added that there's no need for further training because the team's fitness is at its peak.

The team conducted its training tests, including "shuttle runs" for the first time since February, before holding a standing interview with reporters.

In the 2002 World Cup co-hosted by South Korea and Japan, South Korea's players surprised the world with their superb plays and tireless stamina to advance to the semifinals of the prestigious tournament.

The South Korean squad will start their World Cup campaign with an opening match against Togo in Frankfurt on Tuesday. They are in Group G of World Cup finals along with France and Switzerland.
