'Radiation from CDMA Phones Affect Body'

A research team has found that electromagnetic waves from mobile phones affect the human body.

Headed by Yonsei University professor Kim Duck-won, the team said Monday that tests on 42 human subjects, teenage cell phone users saw a rise in sweat secretion on their palms while their blood pressure, pulse and breathing remained unchanged.

Kim said, however, that further research is needed to verify harm from electromagnetic waves.

The findings appeared on the latest online edition of the academic journal Bio Electro Magnetics.
