Rookie golfer Lee Seon-hwa won the ShopRite Classic on Sunday to clinch her first LPGA victory.

At the Seaview Resort and Spa course in Galloway, New Jersey, the 20-year-old finished off a topsy-turvy final round with an eight-under par 63. Her 16-under 197 matched the tournament record held by defending champion Annika Sorenstam.

With the 225-thousand dollar winners' prize, Lee's ranking shot up to fourth overall in prizemoney with a total of 664-thousand dollars.

Jang Jeong tied for second with Sorenstam and Sherri Steinhauer.
