U.S. Think Tank Lauds Nation's High Tech

A leading U.S. think tank has rated South Korea as one of seven countries to benefit the most from rapid technological development.

The RAND Corporation selected the seven from among 29 countries after analyzing their prospects for technological development by 2020.

The list also included the United States, Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia and Israel.

The corporation said leading technologies such as human organ replacement and ubiquitous information technologies will greatly benefit the seven countries.
