English Premier Team Wants Striker Seol

Striker Seol Ki-hyeon of the national soccer team is being wooed by Reading of the English Premier League.

The British newspaper Daily Mirror on Wednesday said the Royals want Seol, who plays for the second-division English team Wolverhampton Wanderers, after Reading's transfer bid of almost nine million dollars for his teammate Joleon Lescott was rejected.

Reading will play in England's top league next season for the first time in its 135-year history.

Seol joined Wolverhampton in 2004 and has two years left on his contract, but the team has apparently made him available in this summer's transfer market.

The Wanderers finished seventh in their league and failed to get promoted to the Premiership.
