Veteran midfielder Kim Nam-il on Monday sprained his ankle and will miss South Korea's friendly game Thursday versus Norway in Oslo.

In Glasgow, Scotland, Kim suffered twisted his right ankle in the morning and sat out practice for the rest of the day.

Though the injury is not seen as serious, coach Dick Advocaat said he will rest Kim for the time being.

Another worry is that fellow midfielder Lee Ho has not fully recovered from his injury.

The team will probably see a different roster against Norway, but the starting lineup should take the field in another friendly game versus Ghana Sunday.
