National soccer coach Dick Advocaat says South Korea's friendly game against Senegal in Seoul Tuesday will test his team's preparedness for the World Cup.
Advocaat told reporters Tuesday that the game will serve as a good test as the first since the announcement of the final roster.
The starting eleven will include the lineup likely to start in Germany next month, including Europe-based players Lee Young-pyo, Ahn Jung-hwan and Seol Ki-hyeon.
Star midfielder Park Ji-sung, however, could miss the game as he has not practiced for a few days due to an ankle injury. Defensive midfielder Kim Nam-il is out with an injured back.
Despite failing to qualify for the World Cup, Senegal is 28th in the world rankings and is one of Africa's most powerful teams. The team, however, will not have three key starters who play in England El Hadji Diouf, Diomansy Kamara and Henri Camara.
The last meeting between the two teams in 2001 saw Senegal prevail, 1-0.
