The government is considering rewards for scientists who publish papers in the renowned scientific journals Nature, Science and Cell.

The Ministry of Science and Technology said Tuesday that it was mulling offering prize money and medals to primary and corresponding authors published in any of the three scientific journals.

The ministry is also seeking to reward inventors from domestic companies who develop internationally recognized new technologies and products.
