Nine former members of cloning scientist Hwang Woo-suk's research team will continue their research.

Science and Technology Minister Kim Woo-sik told reporters Wednesday that the government will support the nine, who were not involved in the fraud scandal, to continue research with other teams in forming blastocysts for stem cells.

Another 30 former members of Hwang's animal cloning team can also continue their experiments with dogs.
