Golfer Wie in Disbelief over Making Men's Cut

Golf prodigy Michelle Wie says she still cannot believe she made her first cut in a professional men's tournament.

After seven failed attempts, the 17-year-old shot Friday a three under-69 in the second round of the SK Telecom Open in Incheon and made the cutoff score of 143 at five under-139.

She is 17th in the tournament, which features the top 60 players on the Asian tour.

Wie is only the second woman to make the cut in a men's tournament in South Korea after Pak Se-ri tied for tenth in the SBS Pro Golf Championship in 2003.

Her first attempt to make the cut in a men's tournament was at age 13 in the Canadian Tour's Bay Mills Open in 2003. She missed the cut by five strokes.
