Yellow dust from China is forecast to hit the nation Monday with yellow dust advisories issued for capital Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and the east coast region.

The Korea Meteorological Administration says dust particle levels exceeded four hundred micrograms per cubic meter as of early Monday morning in most areas nationwide, a reading of more than four times the usual level.

The sandstorm is expected to worsen throughout the day, with advisories likely to be issued for most parts of the country before noon.

The yellow dust is forecast to weaken from around Monday night.
