KBS will launch five radio and one digital multimedia broadcasting channel on May 1st through its proprietary Internet radio player "KBS Online No Gravity," or KONG.

Unlike regular Web radio broadcast service, the audience can exchange text messages with producers through the program run independently from KBS' Web page.

The system's developer said the media player exclusively for KBS radio broadcasting will significantly help expand FM service.

He said he will develop a player able to display moving images and enable data transmission.
