Seoul to Build 5 Dust Lookouts in China

The government will build five more yellow sandstorm observatories this year in Manchuria, China, and near the Chinese border with North Korea.

Korea Meteorological Administration chief Lee Man-ki on Friday said that by year's end, the ten observatories in China built by South Korea will bolster efforts to track the storms' origin and movement.

The weather body will also raise this year the number of observatories in South Korea from 17 to 22 and open branches in Gaesong and Mount Geumgang in North Korea.
