A university in Seoul will set up a science and technology institute in Pakistan.

Myongji University said Tuesday that it has accepted the request of Pakistan's Higher Education Commission to build Pakistan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.

Myongji is the sixth foreign university selected to set up a think tank in Pakistan following the lead of colleges from France and Germany.

Six Pakistani cities will each have institutes of five-hundred students.

World Bank loans will fund the institutes.
