The national youth soccer team has received a relatively easy draw for the Asian Football Confederation's Under-20 Championships opening in India in October.

The confederation on Sunday placed South Korea, which has won two straight titles and eleven overall, in Group A with Kyrgyzstan, Jordan and host India.

North Korea will play in Group C against tougher teams Japan, Iran and Tajikistan.

Group B consists of Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, last year's semifinalist China and Australia, which transferred to the Asian confederation this year from Oceania.

Group D comprises Iraq, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.
