National soccer coach Dick Advocaat is expected to replace injured striker Lee Dong-gook in the starting lineup with a proven veteran.

Advocaat on Saturday said Lee's absence is a blow not only to himself but to the team, but added he still has many good players including members of the 2002 World Cup squad.

He also said the team has thus far achieved great results and denied a significant change to his fundamental strategy.
