The Korea Meteorological Administration will send to China a yellow sand inspection team as part of efforts to devise preventive measures.

The weather agency said Wednesday that the team comprises three experts on yellow sand and science and environment officials from the South Korean Embassy in China.

The team will discuss setting up five observation centers in Manchuria and the region near China's border with North Korea to secure sufficient data to identify the source and track movements of sandstorms.
