IOC Mulls Easing Entry of New Sports

International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge could significantly ease regulations for the inclusion of new events.

In a media conference in Seoul Friday, Rogge said the committee will positively consider approving new events that win a majority vote from executive board members instead of more than two thirds.

Meanwhile, the Association of National Olympic Committees closed its general assembly in Seoul with an executive board meeting.
