Korean American golfer Michelle Wie has finished third at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the first major of the LPGA season.

Wie’s final round of play included five birdies and three bogeys, allowing her to finish at eight-under-par and tied for third place with Natalie Gulbis.

Wie failed to nab a birdie at the eighteenth that would have allowed her to join the playoff for first place.

Karrie Webb eagled at the sixteenth hole, catapulting her into a playoff with Lorena Ochoa and the eventual victory.

The win was Webb's 31st victory and seventh LPGA title.
