The nation’s short track speed skaters dominated top titles at world championships held at Mariucci Arena, Minneapolis.

Ahn Hyun-su, the 15-hundred-meter individual champion, defended his world championship with 68 points after beating fellow teammate Lee Ho-suk in the men’s one-thousand meter on the last day of the event Sunday.

Jin Sun-yu, who won gold in the 1,000, 1,500 and 3,000 events, was the women's overall champion with 68 points — eight more than China’s Wang Meng.

South Korea won seven of the 12 gold medals up for grabs at the event.
