Int'l Olympic Committee Chief Arrives

International Olympic Committee Chairman Jacque Rogge arrived in Seoul Friday to attend the general assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees starting Sunday.

On his first visit to the country since October last year, Rogge received a warm welcome at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul, the site of the association's assembly.

After delivering the assembly's opening address Sunday morning he will receive an honorary doctorate in physical education from Kyung Hee University in Seoul.

He will also attend the opening ceremony of Sport Accord 2006 and chair IOC executive board meetings next week before leaving on April 8th.

Rogge is expected to have in-depth talks with Korea Olympic Committee Chairman Kim Jung-gil on fielding a unified inter-Korean team to the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
