Pitcher Park Chan-ho says the World Baseball Classic has helped him forget the hardship he has gone through over the past three years due to injury and a disappointing record.

The San Diego Union Tribune in a recent report said Park in the tournament pitched with confidence and flair that he seldom showed with the Texas Rangers.

Park also said he believes getting married last year helped him attain greater peace of mind.
