Seoul on March 31st will host its second general assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees.

High-ranking sports officials from around the world will attend the eight-day conference at COEX, including association chairman Mario Vázquez Raña and International Olympic Committee Chairman Jacques Rogge.

Also to take part are 44 IOC officials and organizing staff of the 2008 Beijing, 2010 Vancouver and 2012 London Summer Olympics.

At the assembly, Pyeongchang County of Gangwon Province is expected to promote its bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympics. The IOC in July next year will select the host city.

Seoul previously hosted the 1986 assembly.
