South Korean head soccer coach Dick Advocaat has hailed the national baseball team's semifinals run at the World Baseball Classic.

Returning from Europe Tuesday, Advocaat told reporters that South Korean baseball had surprised the world and that soccer can do the same, saying the country would see a repeat of its 2002 World Cup glory this year in Germany.

With 80 percent of his World Cup roster finalized, Advocaat said he is looking for new players for the remaining positions, adding that the coaching staff will look for them in the domestic K-league.
