Manager to Field Top Lineup in Semifinal

National baseball manager Kim In-shik will field his team's top lineup Saturday in the World Baseball Classic semifinal against Japan.

Moving to San Diego for the team's third showdown with Japan Thursday, Kim said he ordered all pitchers to stand by except Park Chan-ho, who must take a four-day rest after 66 pitches under tournament rules.

Kim said what will happen remains unknown until the game is played, and that though South Korea beat Japan earlier, it cannot always win.

Since the team has reached the semifinals, however, he said the players will do their best with no regrets.
