Almost half of the population will watch the World Cup soccer finals at home given that most of the games will air in early morning.

The online portal Nate on Wednesday said 49 percent of more than 1,400 people polled said they will watch the games at home.

Only a fourth of the nation's soccer fans will watch the games on the streets, far lower than that in 2002. Thirteen percent will do so at public places such as bars or restaurants and eight percent on the Web.
