Figure Skater Kim Ranked World's 10th

Female figure skater Kim Yun-a is the nation's first to rank in the world's top ten after winning the gold medal in the World Junior Figure Skating Championships in Slovenia.

With her win adding 715 points to her total of 3,010, the 16-year-old saw her rank among global women's singles jump six spots to tenth from January.

Irina Slutskaya of Russia topped the rankings.
