Super Bowl hero Hines Ward says he is speechless over his sudden burst in fame.

In a news conference Friday ahead of his planned visit to South Korea in April, the half-Korean, half-African American said his life has greatly changed from his recognition, media attention, traveling and talk shows.

Ward was named Most Valuable Player last month after leading his Pittsburgh Steelers to the U.S. National Football League title.

The player and his mother Kim Young-hee are set to meet President Roh Moo-hyun in his weeklong trip to South Korea.

Ward also urged mixed-race athletes to use prejudice they might suffer as motivation to try harder and succeed.
