Information and Communication Minister Chin Dae-je will fly to Egypt Monday to discuss bilateral cooperation in information technology.

To accompany President Roh Moo-hyun in his upcoming state visits to Egypt, Nigeria and Algeria, Chin will discuss with his Egyptian counterpart cooperation in high-speed Internet, mobile communication, digital multimedia broadcasting and wireless broadband service.

To stay in Cairo through Thursday, Chin will also visit Egypt's state-run broadcaster Telecom Egypt and attend an IT business forum.
