N. Korea Hockey Teams Arrive in S. Korea

North Korean ice hockey teams arrived Thursday in the country to play in two friendly games, the first between the two Koreas in the sport.

Led by coach Pak Chang-dok, eight teams comprising 37 players arrived at Gimpo International Airport on a chartered plane and went to Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, where, the games will be played Friday and Saturday.

They pledged to contribute to winter sports exchanges between the two Koreas through the games.
