Marathoner Lee Bong-ju this weekend will run in his 34th career race in Otsu, Japan.

His sponsor Samsung Electronics on Thursday said the winner of the 2001 Boston Marathon will compete Sunday in the Biwako Marathon.

He placed eleventh in his last race, the Berlin Marathon, in September last year.
