The K-League Super Cup on March 4th will pit last year's regular-season champion Ulsan Hyundai against the domestic cup winner Chonbuk Hyundai.

The K-League on Friday said Ulsan's Moonsu World Cup Stadium will host the game opening the new season.

The Suwon Samsung Bluewings won the first two Super Cups in 1999 and 2000. The now-defunct Anyang LG Cheetahs took it in 2001, Seongnam Ilhwa in 2002, Chonbuk in 2004 and Suwon again last year.

Except in 2004, the regular-season champion has won all Super Cups.

Ulsan is led by speedy national striker Lee Chun-soo and Chonbuk has veteran defender Choi Jin-cheol.
