Ethnic Korean adoptee and Winter Olympic bronze medalist Toby Dawson has canceled his planned trip to the country.

Dawson's agent said Tuesday that the U.S. mogul skier will not take part in the Freestyle Ski World Cup set to open in Gyeonggi Province next week and instead plans to take a rest after the Winter Olympic games.

The agent said Dawson will consider a visit to South Korea later on in the hope of finding his biological parents through a low-profile and scientific manner.

Dawson reportedly received more than two-hundred e-mails from people claiming to be his biological parents, but none had accepted requests for DNA tests.

Dawson, who won the Olympic bronze in the moguls event in Turin last week, visited South Korea three times last year in an effort to find his biological parents.

He had originally been scheduled to arrive in the country on Sunday.
