Golfer Kim Joo-mi Wins 1st LPGA Title

Female golfer Kim Joo-mi has won her first LPGA title.

In the season-opening SBS Open in Hawaii Saturday, Kim sank a two-foot birdie on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff to defeat compatriot Moon Soo-young.

Kim's final round score was one under-71 as she finished with a ten under-206.

The 22-year-old Kim is the 18th ethnic Korean player to win an LPGA trophy and the first to win one in Hawaii.
