Short-Track Skaters Win 2 Golds, Silvers

The nation's short-track skaters have added two gold and two silver medals at the Torino Winter Olympics.

Ahn Hyun-soo on Saturday grabbed his second gold by winning the men's 1,000 meters and compatriot Lee Ho-suk won the silver.

Ahn is the country's third athlete to win two golds in a Winter Olympics after Kim Ki-hoon in 1992 and female skater Chun E-kyung in 1994 and 1998.

In the women's 1,500 meters, Jin Sun-yu won the gold and teammate Choi Eun-kyung the silver.

South Korea has achieved its target of winning three golds in Torino, and ranks fifth in the medal standings with three silvers and a bronze.
