Adoptee Skier Wins Bronze in Torino Games

Korean adoptee Toby Dawson has won the bronze medal in the men's freestyle skiing moguls in the Torino Winter Olympics.

Dawson on Thursday secured his first medal with a perfect showing in the finals.

Adopted at age three by a ski instructor couple from Colorado, Dawson was initially embarrassed over his Korean heritage but his attitude changed as he grew up.

His search for his biological parents has made headlines in South Korea and the world. Reports say a few in South Korea have claimed to be his parents but have declined to take DNA tests.

In March, Dawson is expected to compete in a moguls event in South Korea.
