New Uniforms for World Cup Unveiled

The new uniforms of the national soccer team for the World Cup in Germany on Tuesday were shown for the first time in Berlin.

The design integrated the features of traditional Korean clothing with sports attire.

Compared to the previous uniform in 2002, the shorts were changed from blue to white and the tops have a darker red color.

Blue stripes symbolizing a tiger's mane flow down the side of the jersey, while the shirt back is emblazoned with the Korean term "tuhon," or "fighting spirit."

The uniforms will debut on March 1st, when the national team plays friendly games with European and African teams in Seoul.
