Another half-Korean, half African-American athlete is making waves in the country.

Jang Yae-eun, forward of the pro team Woori Bank Hansae, has appeared in a music video and is attracting more attention due to the success of fellow half-Korean Hines Ward in the United States.

Born in 1987 to a Korean mother and African-American father, she took up basketball in elementary school.

This year, Jang pulled off a rare feat for mixed children in South Korea when she graduated from high school.

She was then picked first overall by Woori in the draft of the Women's Korea Basketball League draft.
