The British science journal Nature has requested Seoul National University to submit its investigative panel’s probe results and research data on the world’s first cloned dog Snuppy as a thesis for the magazine.

The university said Friday that the probe results, if submitted as a paper, would be published in the magazine’s "Brief Communication" section, which covers noteworthy research or experiments.

The university reportedly believes that the probe results should be submitted in the name of the SNU investigative panel.
