Koreas to March Together at Torino Winter Games

Athletes from the two Koreas will march together at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.

President of the Korean Olympic Committee Kim Jung-kil said Wednesday that his organization had agreed with North Korea to march under a single banner at the 20th Winter Olympic Games, which will open on Friday.

It will mark the first time for the two nations to march together at the Winter Olympics.

The two sides will use "Corea” with a “C” as their country name, and wear white uniforms.

Sports delegations of the two Koreas have marched together six times at global events since the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
