The men's under-19 soccer team advanced to the semifinals in the world championships in Qatar.

In the third preliminary match of group B, striker Shin Young-rok and Lee Jae-min both scored, with Korea beating Switzerland 2-0.

The youth team dominated the game, shooting 20 to 3 against the Swiss team.

Topping the group with two wins and a draw in the eight-nation tournament, the youth team will play Austria, the runner-up of Group A, on Tuesday.

Japan, the first place winner of Group A, will play Germany in the semifinals.
