The national soccer team will play a friendly game against Norway on June 1st just before the World Cup starts in Germany.

FIFA's Web site on Friday said Norway will host the game in Oslo.

A source at the Korea Football Association said though the game is not yet confirmed, team coach Dick Advocaat wants to play Norway as the final friendly game before the World Cup.

Norway is 37th in the world rankings, one notch lower than South Korea's Group G opponent Switzerland.

Norway failed to qualify for the World Cup after losing to the Czech Republic in a playoff.
