Pyeongchang County in Gangwon Province will hold Tuesday a signing ceremony for a questionnaire on its bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

The document describes the county's goals and arguments for hosting the event in eight categories, including facilities, lodging and security, along with its vision for the Olympics and plan for a successful hosting.

Pyeongchang's Olympic committee must submit the document by February 1st to the International Olympic Committee. The IOC will then conduct a technical review before selecting official candidates at an executive committee meeting on June 22nd.

A Pyeongchang official said the ceremony will provide an opportunity to show the county's intent to build Olympic stadiums, expand infrastructure and ensure security in order to win the bid.
