The English Premier League team Blackburn Rovers will no longer pursue South Korean striker Ahn Jung-hwan.

The BBC online edition said Thursday that Ahn's decision to snub a tryout with the team complicated the situation.

Ahn, a member of the French team FC Metz, said earlier that he wanted a firmer offer from Blackburn before agreeing to the tryout.
