The national soccer team on Wednesday will play its first friendly of the year against host United Arab Emirates.

South Korea Coach Dick Advocaat said the game is intended to assess his teams strength, expressed confidence of victory.

Strikers Lee Dong-gook, Lee Chun-soo and Park Chu-young are the expected go-to strikers, while defender Kim Nam-il will also see playing time.
