Final Results on Hwang Probe Due Tues.

The Seoul National University panel probing the stem cell scandal of Hwang Woo-suk will announce final results Tuesday.

A panel source on Monday said the final report was completed over the weekend and will be released to news media and on the university's homepage.

At least 150 pages long, the report will confirm whether Hwang's 2004 and 2005 papers and the cloned dog Snuppy are authentic and the number of ova used in his research.

The report will also say to what extent Hwang's colleagues Lee Byung-chun and Kang Sung-geun and former assistants Kim Sun-jong and Park Jong-hyuk were involved in the fabrication.

But the source said a simple yes or no is difficult on whether the source technology exists or Snuppy was cloned.
