Jr. Speed Skating Wins Five Medals

The national junior short-track speed skating team opened the world championships in Romania Friday by winning five of six medals up for grabs.

Lee Seung-hoon, a three-time medalist at the world championships last year, won the men's 1,500 meters, with teammates Lee Jung-su second and Kim Jae-han Kim third.

In the women's 1,500 meters, Jung Eun-ju won the gold medal and teammate Choi Jung-woi the silver. China's Lugian Kang took the bronze.
