The Ministry of Information and Communication (ITC) has adopted the phrase, “Dynamic U-Korea, the world’s leading IT player”, as its vision for the nation's race to dominate the ranks of advanced IT countries.

The ministry also introduced a new slogan, “Advance Korea based on IT strength”, discarding the previous “Materialize a new Korea with IT 839.”

A ministry official said such changes were decided in the wake of recent changes in IT environments at home and abroad.

The current IT 839 strategy will be replaced by U-IT 839 next month.
